Abstract :
A signal with a compactly supported spectrum can be restored using a discrete set of its samplings. A new method for reconstruction of bandlimited signals with the use of atomic functions (AF) is proposed and justified. Atomic functions are infinite differentiable compactly supported solutions to linear functional-differential equations. The novel approach is applied to solving some problems of antenna synthesis. Numerical experiments show its effectiveness.
