Abstract :
the International Symposium on Biometrics and Security Technologies (ISBAST´12) provides an excellent technical program on the latest research results and the state of practice in the areas of computing and security technologies. Not only it is covering the dependability, fault tolerance, grid and cloud computing but it is covering biometrics identification, verification and security technologies. This conference can enable the participants to learn the latest trends of fundamental theoretical approaches, practical experimental projects, and commercial components and systems. In total, the conference received 60 submissions from researchers and practitioners from several countries this year. Each paper was carefully reviewed by program committee members based on their originality, significance, correctness, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Among the high-quality submissions, we only accepted 22 regular papers. All of the accepted papers are included in the proceeding.
