Abstract
A broadband real-time frequency measurement system for frequency diagnostics on megawatt gyrotrons has been developed. It is based on a broadband superheterodyne receiver operating between 100 GHz and 175 GHz. The aim is to determine the oscillating cavity mode. The concept is introduced and first measurement results are presented
