Abstract
Efficient and reliable transmission of multimedia over wireless networks is still a challenging task due to the limitations like end-to-end delay and time varying channel. Multimedia data also require high bandwidth or huge amount of space to store it, which necessitates the need of compression. To mitigate the above problems, we propose a Joint Channel Network Coding (JCNC) technique for speech communication in multiple accesses relay channel along with source coding to achieve better quality and throughput. This technique allows the usage of the newly introduced network coding method which is considered as a better process than the conventional routers. Simulation results primarily show the effectiveness of the proposed technique.
