Abstract :
In order to improve the accuracy of radar measurement, mobile radar waves are generally carried out refraction error correcting. At present, there are two refraction error correction methods. One method has high accuracy, but the calculation speed of it is too slow to apply real-time calculation. The other one is very fast, but the use of the simplified model makes the accuracy very poor, so it is hard to meet the needs of future high-precision measurement and control. Therefore, this paper proposes the fast algorithm of wave refraction error in a mobile radar system, which is based on the meteorological parameters of ground-based, and also inspects the precision. At the same time, it is proved that the fast algorithm can completely take the place of ray tracing method at 4° angle of elevation above, and has an important significance in improving the mobile radar measurement accuracy.
