Abstract
Cancer is, after heart disease, one of the major causes of death in the developed world. One in three people in developed countries are diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime. The first part of this paper concentrates on colorectal and liver cancer, which has been the major focus of our work, primarily on a project carried out jointly with GE Healthcare. Our particular contributions have been on MRI image analysis of the colorectum and liver, on molecular image analysis models, and a software system for information integration
