Abstract :
In this paper we present the results obtained to implement the Fading Mitigation Technique (FMT) by variable transmission rate (DRR) for a communication link through a multi-tap wideband channel model. The system is considered as a random process so that the data rate inside the mitigation algorithm is switching by the variable component with respect to time of the received symbols. The channel model consists in a multi-tap transversal filter on an urban environment. Inside the paper, we make a comparison of the results of BER (Bit Error Rate) according to the variation of the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and the Eb/N0 obtained in the switching of rate with the wideband channel and an AWGN channel as reference.
