Abstract
It is experimentally demonstrated the DGD, GVD tolerance and receiver input power dynamic range can be improved by optimizing power imbalance in a 42.7 Gb/s partial-DPSK receiver. The optimized power ratio at different optical filter bandwidth is studied.
