Abstract :
The paper presented a multi-resonant based sliding mode control (MRSMC) strategy for the grid-connected voltage source converter under the distorted grid voltage conditions. By employing the multi-resonant sliding surface, two different control targets including the sinusoidal current and steady active/reactive power can be achieved under both unbalanced and harmonic distorted grid voltage conditions. The proposed control strategy has some attractive features, such as constant converter switching frequency, no need of phase-locked loop, fast transient response and insensitivity to the inductance parameters variations. And the chattering phenomenon can be avoided by using second order sliding mode. The availability of the proposed strategy is validated by both simulation and experimental tests.
