Abstract :
A simple ring model is proposed which, in conjunction with a previously developed iterative procedure, can correct for the void-distribution effect in void-fraction determination. This method has been tested by a series of benchmark experiments. The results show that the accuracies of void-fraction predictions can be within ±10%. The proposed model is especially useful when the void distribution in a two-phase-flow system is not known
