Abstract :
An amorphous silicon photodiode array originally manufactured for facsimile has been applied to an imaging system for proton beam measurements. A Gd2O2S phosphor sheet and a CsI(Tl) scintillator strip for proton-to-light conversion were tested to obtain good sensitivity. Proton depth dose distribution measurements for cancer therapy are presented
