Abstract :
A direct output power control strategy for a super-high-speed reluctance generator is proposed. It is shown that, by controlling the flux vector in a haxagonal trajectory, the proposed strategy has a simple switching sequence determining function and a low switching frequency. The principle of the strategy is described, as is its realization in a digital signal processor (DSP)-based system. Simulation and experimental results which confirm the validity of the analysis and illustrate the behavior of the system are also presented.<>
