Abstract :
A technique to obtain an equivalent array of antennas uniformly spaced over a line from a non-uniform array of antennas arbitrarily located is presented. The output voltage in the equivalent array is computed using a linear transform of the output voltage in the real array. Super-resolution algorithms for finding the direction of arrival (DOA) of coherently related incident waves can be applied to the output voltage vector of the equivalent uniform array.
