Abstract :
A method is presented for designing maximally flat nonrecursive digital (MFNRD) bandpass and bandstop filters with specified center frequency, bandwidth, and transition bandwidth. It permits direct computation of the filter coefficients and is based on the transformation of prototype MFNRD low- and high-pass filters. A FORTRAN program has been developed for the method described.<>
