Abstract :
This presentation deals with processing of an algorithm for downlink level computation of GPS satellite system. Multipath interference is an important factor, which has a definitive effect on total level of signal C/N0 (carrier power to noise density). Presentation describes the relationship among main parameters distance from satellite to user, elevation angle and total level of signal C/N. Other parameters such as EIRP (equivalent isotropic radiated power), LD (losses of propagation in space), G/T figure of merit for receiver (antenna gain to system noise temperature) and the total level of signal caused by multipath interference signals of satellites operating at the same frequency is calculated too.
