  • Abstract
    Based on a novel circuit topology of Power Factor Correction (PFC) converter, an integrated structure for both Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) filter and Boost inductors is proposed with Flexible Multi-Layer Foil (FMLF) integration technology in order to increase the power density. The designs of the circuit parameters are given, and Common Mode (CM) and Differential Mode (DM) noises are estimated with Distributed Electromagnetic Component (DEMC) model. Finally, a prototype of 1kW PFC converter has been built, and the experiment results validate that the proposed integrated structure is feasible.
