Abstract
The calibration of a nonlinear vectorial microwave network analyzer (NVNA) used for continuous wave measurements (moderate number of frequency components) is extended for pulsed RF measurements (very large number of frequency components). The new calibration is based on the combination of the regular RF calibration with a separate IF calibration. Experimental results in pulsed regime are compared with results from a pulsed RF vectorial network analyzer (VNA).
