Abstract :
The active magnetic bearing (AMB) control system requires a high precision for rotor, and the signal-to-noise ratio has direct impact on the control system. In this paper, an improved adaptive filtering method is used to extract the amplitude and phase precisely in the environment of strong background noise with variable frequency structure. Meanwhile, the system hardware based on DSP for the application of the algorithm is adopted. Experiment results have demonstrated that the method advanced in this paper could satisfy the requirement of high precision and better real-time performance and be carried out easily and the improved method will have a promising engineering application
