Abstract
This paper presents a method for accurate design of a class of narrow band and broad band power-divider T junction circuits. This technique is based on the development of design formulae from theory and empirical data. Specifically, this technique makes it possible to design three T junction circuits, the asymmetrical tee (narrow band circuit), the 2-step tee and the linearly tapered tee (broad band circuits), for prescribed transmission characteristics. The design formulae are the result of extensive in-depth simulation and measured data obtained on numerous circuit designs realized in the 1-8 GHz frequency range
