Abstract :
This paper describes the design of an InP HBT-based, long wavelength (1300 nm), optical receiver for use in optical signal distribution of microwave signals (6-13 GHz) for a phased array antenna. Discussed are the tradeoffs in selection and design of the photodetector, transistor and amplifier for monolithic integration
