Abstract :
Various simulations of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) are achieved for different objectives. But, all components are not always taken into account for their complexity and their computation time. In this paper, the influence of the clutch model is studied for simulation of a parallel HEV. Indeed, the clutch is a complex element to model. Two simulations are provided, with and without the clutch. The effects on the fuel consumption and on the dynamic performance are studied.
