Abstract
The primary characteristics of grid are dynamic nature and heterogeneity. They bring new challenges to resource management and task scheduling. To achieve reliable resources and services during the process of resource selection, multiple goals that affect the performance of resource scheduling are considered. According to the idea of credit in commercial filed, a dual-credits model is established to evaluate the behaviors both of the resource and the resource provider. Response time and cost also be considered to select resource. They are calculated by a time-cost synthetic measurement function. Based on above factors, a resource selection algorithm that takes dual-credits, response time, cost as rules, and chooses best resource as target is proposed. Moreover, an improved scheduling framework with our resource selection method is introduced.
