Abstract :
Simulation capacities of III-V compound solar cells were studied with a special emphasis on work conditions imposed by the use of an optical concentrator. The latest advances in computer technology and simulation software now allow to completely model such a large device as a solar cell. 2D and 3D physical simulations resulted to be fast and accurate, allowing the authors to develop a useful tool for future development of concentrator solar cells.
