Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to correlate data from electrochemical methods with atomic force microscopy (AFM) information, in order to characterize thin films on titanium systems. As physiological media, the following solutions were used: Hank, Ringer 2 and artificial saliva. The temperature was maintained at 37°C. The performed electrochemical methods were: potentiodynamic method (cyclic polarization experiment) potentiostatic technique and open circuit potential measurements
