Abstract :
In this paper, a Half Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide (HMSIW) phase shifter is proposed, designed, fabricated and measured. The proposed phase shifter employs a HMSIW hybrid junction and provides continuous control of phase shifting by using varactor diodes. Good agreement between measured and simulated results indicate that the proposed structure has a wide phase tuning range, flat insertion loss and low reflection coefficient over a wide band frequency.
