Abstract
A new calibration standard design is presented in this paper for the purpose to calibrate polarization correlation millimeter wave radiometers in vacuum chamber. This new configuration consists of one polarization grid, one temperature adjusted targets, and one cold target. Compared with traditional calibration model, the new one doesn´t need any unpolarized target when calibrating a polarization correlation radiometer by regulating the physical of calibration targets. The design for polarizing grid and wide aperture radiator are also introduced in related section. The simulation results of calibration process prove validity of the new design.
