Abstract :
CdS thin films have been obtained by vacuum deposition method on glass and Kapton foil (flexible polymide copper covered). The samples were characterized by visible spectrophotometric and X-ray diffraction analysis. The calculated band-gap energy from experimental data suggest that the CdS layer (n-type) junctions with CdTe films (p-type) are suitable for solar cells
