Abstract
The problem of computerized synthesis of component models in CAD systems is considered from the viewpoint of adaptive simulation concept. There are two approaches among the others that are of great interest - the problem adaptation method and the method of grouping arguments. Algorithmic realization of the both approaches are presented and compared. A practical example of the use of adaptive simulation is given.
