Abstract :
The spirometabolic complex measures the volume of exhaled air, the concentration of carbon dioxide and oxygen in the exhaled air. On the basis of the received data, according to the accepted medical techniques, conclusions can be inferred about the patient´s health state. The spirometabolic complex hardware consists of four parts: spirotachometer (sensor of exhaled air speed), capnometer (device for measurement of CO2 concentration), oxymeter (sensor of O2 concentration) and gas transport system uniting all these components in an integral system. The purpose of the given work is the creation of an integrating program environment allowing us to unite these resources, to operate them, and to organize an exchange of the data with the computer.
