  • Abstract
A novel broadband and miniaturized UHF RFID tag antenna with T-matching network is presented in this paper. The T-matching network is used for bandwidth enhancement. Its miniaturization characteristic is realized by using a folded radiating element. The bandwidth (S11<;-20dB) of the proposed antenna is 220MHz (800MHz ~1.02GHz) and the whole global UHF RFID frequency band has been covered. By using the proposed structure not only the tag bandwidth has been enhanced, but also its size has been miniaturized. The proposed antenna also has the advantages of low profile, simple structure, low cost, and easy to manufacture.
