  • Abstract
    Experimental results demonstrating nearly-complete mode-selective coupling to photonic crystal waveguides from optical fiber tapers are presented. 98% power transfer with a 20 nm bandwidth, and an effective coupling length of 20 /spl mu/m is observed.
