Abstract :
According to the distribution property of discrete wavelet transform (DWT) subband coefficients of an image, this paper proposes a novel blind watermarking scheme based on the sign of wavelet coefficients. The positive DWT coefficients are used to represent the watermarking bit 1, and negative ones are used to denote watermarking bit 0 in this method. Experimental results show that the scheme is effective and robust to common image processing operation, such as JPEG, JPEG 2000 lossy compression, salt and pepper noise
