Abstract
The klystron is a specialized linear-beam vacuum tube which will work in X-Ray Free Electron Laser (XFEL) at 1.3GHz frequency. The XFEL should work continuously over 20 years with only 1 day per month for maintenance. In order to meet so demanding requirement lifetime of the klystron tube should be as long as possible. There is a few factors which can reduce lifetime of the klystron tube. To prevent occurrence of the destructive factors the Klystron Lifetime Management (KLM) system was proposed. This paper focuses on the software that allows to increase lifetime of the klystron.
