An e-learning system based on semantic Web supporting a learning in doing environment

We aim to describe an innovative e-learning approach based on a learning in doing environment according to the research field of the Kolb´s experiential learning theory. At first, we describe the integrated model of the learning in doing environment in which thinking, studying and acting are strongly correlated to reinforce and improve the effectiveness of the knowledge creation processes. Then, we describe the associated e-learning solution developed for supporting this environment, based on the promising semantic Web technologies.
