Abstract :
Summary form only given. In applications where multiple units may be used to achieve reliable high-power operation, opening switches are viable power conditioning components only if the throughput jitter in the switch is small compared to the duration of the composite pulse required. Experiments at Physics International have been performed to investigate causes of this temporal jitter, and to determine ways of minimizing it.
