Abstract :
A novel 2.5 Gb/s 16/spl times/16 bit crosspoint switch has been designed utilizing source coupled logic GaAs MESFET logic cells. The chip offers two methods of programming and is capable of a data path rate of 2.5 Gb/s, resulting in an aggregate bandwidth of 40 Gb/s.
