Abstract :
In this paper, the one dimensional analytical model of an electrothermal filter has been presented. The basic dependencies concerning the layout of such a filter have been noticed and described. The analytical approach can substantially help designing an electrothermal filter which requires to have specific characteristics. The proposed reverse connection of the thermocouples leads to a significant improvement - 3 times higher derivative of the phase characteristic at 90 degrees, however, the lower magnitude has to be taken into account. To mitigate the disadvantageous effect, the increased number of thermocouples can be used.
