Handling learning objects in distributed environment

Our intention is to develop a framework complementing traditional classroom education with network based education at the University of Veszprem, Hungary. We introduced the framework model in details in Muhi et al. (2003). It handles learning objects that are discovered by service discovery and described by learning object metadata (LOM). In this article we present both our model and the way of implementation.
