Abstract
In this paper we present a compact RF photonic transceiver architecture capable of highly linear microwave signal transport over fiber. Our previous implementation of a feedforward linearized photonic transceiver demonstrated the wideband high dynamic range capability of the architecture. Here we focus on novel techniques for realizing the highly linear performance desired for the RF photonic transceiver with simultaneous low size, weight and power with the replacement of several bulky subsystems.
