Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel approach to blind adaptive beamforming of the electronically-steerable parasitic array radiator (ESPAR) antenna. After formulating the directivity of the ESPAR antenna briefly, the maximum moment criterion is introduced by utilizing the first- and second-order statistic moments. A computer simulation demonstrates the blind adaptive beamforming performance of this algorithm under the presence of QPSK-modulate multiple signals plus substantial additive Gaussian noise.
