Abstract :
A new adaptive blind equalization scheme for the multiple FIR channel (single-input multiple-output (SIMO) linear FIR system) is proposed. Under some assumption on the linear channel, the blind equalizer has been changed into the conventional system identification with known input/output (I/O) data. The studies in theory and experiment show that the new BE scheme has an improved performance in equalizing the linear FIR channel, and is robust to over-determination of the linear FIR channel order as well.
