Abstract :
The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method (see Sullivan D.M., "Electromagnetic Simulation Using the FDTD Method", IEEE Press, 2000) is used to simulate light interaction with photonic band gap (PBG) structures constructed by arrays of wires in nonlinear optical fibers.
