Abstract :
In traffic simulation systems, the usage of agents and the path searching algorithm are focused now. While simulating a great deal of vehicles in a large map, a great deal of computing resource is required for original-destination calculation. An intersection-centric routing guidance implementation for traffic simulation based on multi-agent is introduced in this paper. Referenced with the computer network routing algorithm, intersections are defined as intelligent agents for route guidance. A multi-agent routing guidance algorithm is proposed and proved by a test under Matlab. It´s useful not only in the simulation for vehicles´ route guidance but also in crowd evacuation.
