Abstract :
In this paper, a new strategy for the design of active matched antennas with non-Foster elements is presented. The aim of this work is to complement the design process through considerations of sensitivity to circuitry location, Non-Foster elements stability, radiation efficiency and current distributions in order to enhance the antenna performance. A design example using an electrically small antenna (ESA) and its realization are presented for describing the proposed strategy.
