Abstract :
The report has shown that the nanoscale photoacceleration process is governed by the evanescent surface plasmon field in the vicinity of the nanoparticle, which allows for a high-level control of these nanoemitters by tailoring the geometry and thereby the plasmonic resonances of the particles.
