Abstract :
In this paper a model of error conditions in mobile communications systems is presented. This model is used subsequently for deriving the adaptive algorithm of signal receiving with measurements and suppression of different types of noise. In mobile communications systems there are three main types of noise, which greatly influence the general performance of these systems: frequency-selective (narrow-band) noise, time selective (impulse) noise and space-selective (structure-like) noise. A method of measurement and suppression of noise is based on digital whitening filtration. The results of the simulation of adaptive digital whitening filter are given. The adaptive algorithms of noise suppression presented in this paper allow to protect the mobile communications system from the fading, caused by the multipath propagation in urban conditions.
