  • Abstract
This paper presents a design technique for a multi-band, single-layer reflectarray. The procedure is generally applicable to the design of n-bands reflectarrays, even when there is a significant distance between the operating bands. The presented design approach is applied to the design of a three bands reflectarray working at the three operating frequencies, 3.9GHz (C-Band), 7.5GHz (X-Band) and 12.5GHz (Ku-Band), typically used for satellite communications. The radiating elements located on the reflective surface of the reflectarray are constituted by three concentric loops loaded with double stubs. They are printed on a thin film placed on a substrate, so that the total thickness of the resulting structure is 4mm.
