Abstract :
The paper proposes a new family of combination blind equalization including a concurrent constant modulus algorithm (CMA) based on variable slope error function (VSCMA) and decision directed (DD) scheme (VSCMA+DD), and a concurrent VSCMA + DD and phase-locked loop (PLL) scheme (VSCMA + DD+PLL). Simulations with a common underwater acoustic channel and a time-varying Doppler underwater acoustic channel are used to compare the VSCMA+DD with the famous concurrent CMA and DD scheme (CMA+DD) and compare the VSCMA +DD+PLL with the concurrent CMA+DD and PLL scheme (CMA+DD+PLL), respectively. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithms have faster convergence rate
