  • Abstract
    A system of learning from examples, SLFE, and its application in automatic knowledge acquisition are introduced. An extension matrix approach is adopted as computational strategy of learning from examples. An algorithm of inductive learning is included in the system. SLFE system has been used for acquiring the rules on insect pest and disease of crops and the results of learning are seen to be preferable
