Abstract :
We propose a 10.3 Gb/s burst-mode XFP transceiver with an emphasis for 10G-EPON multi-port OLTs. The burst-mode receiver sensitivity of -30.4 dBm with FEC was achieved with a 250 mm long transmission line to the XFP, peak emphasis gain of 3.5 dB and burst-mode CDR.
